upright rectangular with hexagonal section, the front and reverse enameled en plein with portrait miniatures of a young lady wearing a flower crown and two classically dressed females, on a dark blue enamel ground finely inlaid with floral sprays embellished with diamond-set branches, the sides with elaborate paillon flower vases above an enamel cameo, the lid surmounted with a pearl, the hinged base fitted with a mirror, apparently unmarked
