May 23rd 1932. / The brass cannon, with gun-carriage + limber is a model of a gun used in the service of the Hon. E. I. Company. The model, now the property of Mr Proctor-Clarke of Johannesburg, was made in 1825 + is consequently over 100 years old. It has been exhibited for many years in the Indian Section of the Victoria + Albert Museum, London as a loan. / A. D. Campbell. Keeper of the Indian Section V.+A. Museum
