Per the note on a diamond brooch offered recently at Drouot, Edgar Morgan was an important but largely forgotten figure in late 19th century Parisian jewelry. His address on the rue Monsigny was that given when he registered his mark in 1879, but by 1886 he had moved to the more fashionable rue de la Paix.
