Description

Woven with a foreground meadow of flowers and plants and a seated resting lady holding a baby, with her travel bag and water flagon onlooking standing figures in the centre foreground of a victorious laurel wreathed leader before a younger man, with various onlookers, some in battle dress and further groups of figures in the landscape background including walking and talking me and armed equestrian troops, all wearing classical armour and helmets; lacking a border, with later selvedges
