Vertical oban: 39.5 x 27 cm., 15½ x 10½ in.
We are in Tago Bay, at the foot of Mount Fuji. Four tall pine trees frame the view of the mountain. A farmer leads a horse and cart laden with bays of hay; the sunset tints the snow-capped mountain pink, as well as bathes the foreground in evening light.
