Description

the rod with measuring scale of square section graduated on three sides in Greek letters, and knobbed terminals, three suspension rings at one end, one with hook and chain, the Greek inscription THYRSOY ("of/belonging to Thyrsos") punched on the rod, the weight cast in the form of the draped bust of a goddess wearing an openwork crown.
