An Egyptian Wood Mummy Mask
19th/21st Dynasty, 1305-956 B.C.
from the lid of an inner coffin, wearing a broad collar and wide striped tripartite wig, the face with finely carved mouth rounded at the corners, outlined lips, and straight nose, the eyes, long cosmetic lines and long, tapering eyebrows painted in black.
Height 35.5 cm.
