An Egyptian Pottery Vessel, Predynastic Period
Naqada II, 3600-3200 BC
in the form of a fish, perhaps a tilapia, with body of ovoid shape, small open, mouth and molded eyes close together, the long dorsal fin with spines incised, the flaring opening in place of the tail.
Length 19.3 cm.
