An Egyptian Bronze Head of a Divinity or Ruler

21st/22nd Dynasty, 1080-720 B.C.


wearing the crown of Lower Egypt, a tenon above the forehead for the fragmentary head of the uraeus, his broad face with large eyes, eyebrows, cosmetic lines and beardstraps formerly inlaid, the remains of a tenon under the chin for the missing beard.

Height 7.6 cm.
