This ‘City Edition’ complete uniform was worn by Karl-Anthony Towns on February 17, 2024, in the Starry 3-Point Contest during the State Farm All-Star Saturday Night.

Towns was looking to win his second 3-Point Contest in 2024. He put on a great shooting display in the first round of the event, finishing with 26 points in a tie for first with 3 others. In the tie-breaking round, Towns caught fire early, making 9 of his first 10 shots. He ended the round with 16 to move on to the finals.

In the final round, Towns was the first to shoot and scored an impressive 22 points. This put him in a great spot, but his score was not enough to fend off eventual winner Damian Lillard. Towns kept the hot shooting going into the next day's All-Star Game, finishing with a game-high 50 points.

Going Deeper | Karl-Anthony Towns

After being selected with the first overall pick of the 2015 NBA Draft, Karl Anthony Towns (“KAT”) has steadily worked his way up the ranks in the NBA to become one of the most well-known faces in the franchise. In his rookie season, Towns wasted no time establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with, averaging an impressive 18.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game, earning him the well-deserved title of Rookie of the Year. Towns' trajectory of success continued as he was named to the league's 2018 All-NBA Team, showcasing his skills with averages of 21.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.4 blocks per game, while shooting an impressive 42.1 percent from beyond the arc. This stellar performance earned him a well-deserved spot on the All-Star team for the first time.

At the time of cataloging, Towns has career averages of 23 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game and is the Timberwolves' all-time leading 3-point scorer. Towns is a 4-time NBA All-Star and a 2-time member of the All-NBA 3rd Team.
