Second edition, 2 parts in one volume, 12mo (133 x 80mm.), title printed in red and black, engraved frontispiece and one further plate, licence leaf at beginning, pen trials in eighteenth century hand to verso of licence leaf and endleaves, nineteenth century half morocco over green buckram boards, marbled edges, marbled endpapers, one text leaf shaved at upper margin, one small marginal closed tear, upper hinge splitting, extremities slightly rubbed


"First printed earlier the same year... the year of the unsuccessful first Turkish siege of Vienna, 1663, which had been preceded by the siege of Neuhausel, described here" (Blackmer).
