The Macallan Select Reserve 51 Year Old 46.6 abv 1948


Distilled in 1948, drawn from only three casks and bottled at cask strength, dated 11th February (each bottle is uniquely identified by a handwritten day of the year from 1948), one of 366 bottles, level: bottom neck, includes a signed and dated certificate of guarantee, within original hand-turned cherry wood tube and original maroon felt cover, original cardboard outer tube (also dated 11th February) and original cardboard outer box

Standard price shipping is available for deliveries within the United Kingdom (excluding Ireland and Scotland). Prices are quoted per case of wine or spirits; please note that a single bottle of wine or spirit will be considered as a full case. Deliveries will be charged as follows:

 

-         to an address in London: £35 for the first 10 cases, plus £10 for any additional case, plus VAT and Sotheby’s Transit Care cover;

-         to a UK address outside of London (excluding Ireland and Scotland): £45 for the first 10 cases, plus £10 for any additional case, plus VAT and Sotheby’s Transit Care cover.

Sotheby’s cannot arrange or take responsibility for shipments to non-UK buyers, but will be pleased to introduce them to a forwarding agent. Where it is necessary to have a licence to import wines or spirits, procural of the licence shall be the sole responsibility of the buyer.
