The Macallan 62 Year Old in Lalique, Six Pillars, Fifth Edition 53.1 abv NV


Decanter #298 of 400, level: 1cm below shoulder, Taiwanese import label applied to back of decanter, with original handling pack, booklet and crystal stopper, within original presentation case and original transit packaging


Official Tasting Notes:


COLOUR

Rich cherry


NOSE

Rich and aromatic. An initial burst of treacle toffee uncovers raisin and blood orange followed by deep aromas of apple, sprinkled with ginger, cinnamon and chocolate. Layers of dark vanilla embellished by soft burnished oak


PALATE

Rich dried fruits, with raisin strongly to the fore. Viscous layers of sweet ginger, figs and cigar leaf, before the oak emerges showing the complexity of age

Long and embracing

-         to a UK address outside of London (excluding Ireland and Scotland): £45 for the first 10 cases, plus £10 for any additional case, plus VAT and Sotheby’s Transit Care cover.
