the sixteen plate russet iron bowl with raised ridges of akoda-nari form, Unkai style shinodare [ornamental strips], terminating in a five-stage copper-gilt tehen kanamono, russet iron mabisashi [peak], the fukigaeshi [turnbacks] with embossed leather in Kaga style and applied patinated metal encircled hoshi [star] character crests, the copper-gilt fukurin chased and engraved, two-tiered black and gold lacquer manju jikoro [rounded neck guard] with sugake odoshi [spaced lacing] in dark green braid, the reverse in gold lacquer, gold lacquer maedate [forecrest] in the form of a stylised crescent moon; sabiji-nuri [similated russet iron] lacquered hanbo [half mask], red lacquer interior, three-tiered yodaregake [throat guard] in matching braid, this lot is sold with a metal helmet stand as illustrated
