on stepped circular base with gadroon borders, fitted with two later Sheffield Plated reeded branches with campana sconces and detachable nozzles, the velvet-covered curved rectangular shade attached to an urn-shaped knop sliding on a quadrangular post with gadrooned loop handle, adjustable for height and angle, fully marked on base rim, lion passant on frame and back of shade, the base fitted with a ring-form weight, the Sheffield Plated branches circa 1815
