Description

the rectangular box with overhanging cover and champhered edge, decorated in gold, silver and red and black hiramaki-etakamaki-etogidashi-efundamekeuchikirikane, and kimpun on a sparse nashiji ground, with a koshirae before three open and closed fans depicting chrysanthemums and other flowers and foliage, the interior of the cover with temples and pagodas nestled among mountains beside a lake, the interior with a continuous scene depicting a pavilion beneath a large pine and two figures crossing a wooden bridge, fitted with an inner tray, slate inkstone and copper-gilt water dropper (suiteki) in the form of a fan, nashiji interior, fundame rims; fitted wood storage box with attestation
