Edith Hafter (1911-2011) was a prominent Swiss art collector and one of the most important female patrons of her generation. Based in Solothurn, she commissioned architect Fritz Haller to build the strikingly avant garde home for her renowned art collection, which to this day remains one of Switzerland's most iconic residential buildings.
