Sotheby’s is proud to present the All-Star themed basketball signed by various participants in the 2009 NBA All-Star Game including numerous Hall of Famers.

In the game, the Western Conference defeated the Eastern Conference 146-119 on February 15, 2009 at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Former Los Angeles Lakers teammates Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal received joint All-Star MVP honors. 

The signatures on the ball include that of Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Paul Gasol, Yao Ming, Dirk Nowitzki, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Jameer Nelson, Joe Johnson, David West, and Dwight Howard, along with longtime NBA coaches Kurt Rambis, Frank Hamblen, and Brian Shaw. 

A letter from James Spence Authentication in regards to the signatures is included with this lot.
