Ex. Albert Bush, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Engineer

Presumably from research and training, these two visors — one clear and one gold — from a Lunar Extravehicular Visor Assembly (LEVA) were once in the collection of a 1960s/1970s-era NASA engineer, and have serial number "493-1-2" scratched into the side of the gold visor above the right ear.

The inner visor is clear and covered with a thermal coating, whereas the outer visor is covered with a golden optical coating. The reflective golden LEVA visor is deservedly famous, given the iconic "visor shot" image of Buzz Aldrin on the lunar surface.
