MANUALS FROM THE APOLLO TRAINING PROGRAM

North American Aviation, Inc., was the manufacturer of the Command and Service Module (CSM) for the Apollo program. These Apollo Logistics Training manuals, all published in either 1965 or 1966, primarily concern CSM systems. Topics and diagrams include the propulsion subsystem, the guidance and navigation subsystem, emergency systems, the sequential events control system, and others.

The Apollo Training Program was designed to provide an integrated training program for the flight crew, controllers, launch operations, and NASA and contractor engineering personnel. The same engineering instructors provided the training programs to each group of students, resulting in total continuity of spacecraft systems information presented throughout the program.
