Lunar Flyby
Large chromogenic print, 20 x 16 inches, SIGNED and INSCRIBED by Apollo 13 Commander JIM LOVELL in gold ink: "03.08:22:50 / 'Just for information, Houston / During, just prior to going around the Moon, / we saw a lot of debris that was / floating by us, including one rather / large piece, looked like the wrapping / off a line of some sort that is still / with us.' / Jim Lovell / Apollo 13 CDR."
A view through the rendezvous window of Lunar Module "Aquarius" of the Moon beyond the Command Module. During their flyby, the crew had precious few moments to observe the lunar surface up close before heading back to Earth.
