Large chromogenic print, 20 x 16 inches, SIGNED and INSCRIBED by Apollo 11 Lunar Module Pilot BUZZ ALDRIN: "'That's a good step.' / Buzz Aldrin / Apollo XI."
A STRIKING PHOTOGRAPH OF APOLLO 11 LMP BUZZ ALDRIN'S DESCENT FROM THE LUNAR MODULE "EAGLE" TO STEP FOOT ON THE LUNAR SURFACE, SIGNED BY THE ASTRONAUT HIMSELF
Taken July 20, 1969, this inspiring photograph shows Apollo 11 Lunar Module Pilot Buzz Aldrin as he climbs down the Earth-made lunar module and onto the cratered surface of the Moon. Mission Commander Neil Armstrong took this photo with a Hasselblad 70mm color camera moments after he announced to the word that this mission was “one small step for man” and “one giant leap for mankind”. This Apollo mission paved the way for the international space station as well as exploring the previously impossible.
