Nike Air Jordan 11 Retro 'OVO Grey Snakeskin' Sample | Size 9.5

The Nike Air Jordan 11’s - designed by legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield – were created in 1995 when Hatfield realized that Michael Jordan could roll his foot on hard cuts when playing. Hatfield took this opportunity to build a sneaker that would suit Michael with these difficult movements during gameplay. The patent leather on the uppers of the shoe additionally allowed Michael to wear the sneakers with a suit. 

First spotted on the sidelines of a Raptors game in 2017, the Nike Air Jordan 11 Retro OVO Grey Snakeskin Friends & Family was teased by rapper Drake between collection drops. The exclusive samples came in two colorways, “Pink” and “Grey”. The high top versions were never sold to the public, but the low versions of the Snakeskin colorways became available in 2019. 

This rare sneaker features a clean white upper, with grey snakeskin decorating the overlay panels. This grey model gained internet popularity when Drake wore the pair courtside in 2017, with further hype coming when PJ Tucker wore the pink version against the Boston Celtics in 2020.

A “45" is embroidered on the heel, a reference to Michael Jordan’s comeback during the 1995 season.
