Quo Vadis is a peplum directed by Mervyn Le Roy in 1951, based on the book of the same name by Henryk Sienkiewicz. Set in Rome during the reign of Nero, it tells the story of the first Christians. The film was nominated for eight Oscars, with Peter Ustinov winning not the Oscar but the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor.

L'action se situe à Rome sous le règne de Néron, et raconte l'histoire des premiers chrétiens. Le rôle principal est tenu par Robert Taylor et Sir Peter Ustinov joue le rôle de l'empereur Néron.
