A Victorian panelled pine vestment or robe chest, circa 1880
the moulded cornice above a pair of panelled doors, one with a turned rosewood knob, the interior with 13 pull-out trays, the sides with a twin metal bolts which run through the chest
154cm. high, 132cm. wide, 88cm. deep; 5ft. ½in., 4ft. 4in., 2ft. 10 ½in.
Probably acquired by Robert Valentine Berkeley (1853-1940) or his wife Rose Willmott Berkeley (1861-1922)
