A Brazilian silver ewer and basin, Bahia, late 18^th century

The ewer with spiral fluting and a flying scroll handle, the basin shaped-oval form with a beaded border,

the ewer: 39.5cm., 15¼in. high

Please note, the town mark on both the ewer and basin is for Bahia, Brazil, and not Braga, Portugal.
