A George II mahogany bureau cabinet, circa 1750


the breakfront cornice and blind fretwork frieze over a pair of triple panel doors with fluted pilasters, the cleated fall enclosing a fitted interior over three short and three long drawers, losses to bracket feet and moulded returns

approximately 245cm. high, 131cm. wide; 62cm. deep; 8ft. ½in., 4ft. 3 ½in., 2ft. ½in.

Possibly acquired by Robert Berkeley of Clytha (d.1756) or his son Robert Berkeley (1713-1804).
