Aluminum trophy (300 mm tall) being the MTV logo attached to the earth by a metal spring, signed and dated on the base; visible crack in the "V" of the logo where a piece has been re-attached with glue, unengraved plaque re-attached and with a piece of tape visible, stray mark in felt tip, some scratches.

The MTV Europe Music Award presented to the Red Hot Chili Peppers for "Best Rock," signed by Chad Smith on the base: "Chad Smith | RHCP | 2000." That year saw massive success for the Chili Peppers, who won and were nominated for numerous awards following the release of Californication, which remains their most commercially successful album.
