Queen
Live Killers. EMI Records, 1979
LP in original gatefold sleeve (catalogue number EMSP 330), signed on the front cover by Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon, with the original red and green inner sleeves; barely a trace of ringwera, some very minor rubbing and creasing, green inner sleeve slightly splitting at two edges. [With:] The official tour program for the 1979 Crazy Tour; mail order form clipped from rear cover. [And with:] A signed letter of authenticity from Tracks Ltd., printing a letter of provenance from the original owner.
The '79 live double album, signed by the band. According to an HMV advertisement included in the present official tour program, "Until 29th December the HMV Shop are reducing all past Queen albums. There's £2 off the list price of the double album 'Live Killers', featuring some of their biggest hits. And from the 1st December the first 100 copies of 'Live Killers' sold through the 36 HMV Shops are autographed by Queen." The letter of provenance included with the record states that the original owner purchased this signed copy from an HMV in Liverpool. The record captured the band's live sound at the height of their arena tours, including a mix of greatest hits and less-famous songs.
