The gold record for Walls and Bridges. The album was written, recorded, and released during the period Lennon referred to as his "Lost Weekend"—the eighteen months during which Lennon separated from Yoko Ono, and at her encouragement, moved to Los Angeles to be in a relationship with their assistant May Pang.
