Highlights:

This beautiful 2004 estate Cabernet is as precocious as the day of its bottling â€" its dark purply pigments still stain the glass while colorful aromatics of black cherry, white chocolate and brown sugar still envelope the senses. As Robert Parker then told us, our Calistoga Cabernets were as comparably earthy as those of Saint-Estèphe. Released at a private reception at PJ Clark’s in NYC in 2008, this first vintage of THE GRADE was a success. Its soft tannins, luscious acidity, natural sucrosity and overall Napa terroir are in perfect balance, allowing this wine to mature gracefully over its 18 years.
