Princess Pauline Olga Helene Emma zu Wied, née Württemberg (1877–1965), daughter of King William II of Württemberg and Princess Marie of Waldeck and Pyrmont, and spouse of Prince William Frederick zu Wied;

Thence by descent to Duchess Marie von Württemberg.

Frederick William III of Prussia, is shown here half-length before the Prussian National Monument for the Liberation Wars, which he commissioned in 1821. The cast-iron monument was built atop the Kreuzberg hill in Berlin, a view of which appears in the distance. A lithograph of this composition was printed by Franz Kruger in 1825.1 Ernst Gebauer's full-length portrait of Frederick William III, dated 1829, is today in the Stadtmuseum, Berlin.2
