Naturally-Etched Aquamarine

Incredible natural etching and internal brilliance characterize this sculptural aquamarine crystal from Brazil. This specimen is a large and gemmy ice-blue floater crystal that is complete all around. From the famous 2005 find at Pedra Azul in Minas Gerais, this is one of the "ice sculptures," or free-form aquamarines found in several large, clay-filled pegmatite pockets at this locality.
