Alina Pasok

The artist.

Alina Pasok represents new generation of audio visual creators. Her work takes variety of shapes and forms across digital media - from experimenting with music videos as an art form and manifesto creating and directing videos of Youtube phenomenon Little big band and extending it to new digital art forms on Instagram and TikTok, collaborating and expressing the voice of new generation of independent artists (Tommy Cash, Oliver Tree, Dillon Francis). 

She holds more than 30 festival awards for her music videos.

This work is the first of a series of experiments around our perceptions and subconscious biases. In her Alina is asking us - how does one’s looks affect our perception of what they say? This first work is manifesting Nadya’s spirit and inner strength through 9 gender stereotypes - at the same time Nadya is being a voice of many women, yet showing us inner “Nadya” in every woman. In following experiments Alina aspires to build a collection of stereotypes and biases and see other people in these roles and challenge our biases further.
