Charles Zalber was the owner of Galerie Lucie Weill & Seligmann, Paris, a renowned gallery located adjacent to the École Nacionale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts. Founded in 1930, the gallery worked with upcoming and established artists, both French and international, the likes of Pablo Picasso, Christian Bérard, Jean Cocteau, Gino Severini, and Kees van Dongen.
This work will be included in SH RAZA, Catalogue Raisonné, Early Works (1940 - 1957) by Anne Macklin on behalf of The Raza Foundation, New Delhi (Image ref SR2796).
