The Artist
The present work relates to a monumental, 25 meter high sculpture Brunker installed in Suzhou, China. Undaunted by scale, Brunker creates works that have a fluidity and lightness which belie their size and medium. The organic elements are an essential part of her work, inspired by the natural world. Her innovative work challenges and reimagine traditional conceptions of bronze figures.
