Gifted by the Artist to Roy and Jesse Gentry, and thence by family descent

Roy Gentry and Uglow were friends from West Norwood - they swam together and were both in the boy scouts. The Gentrys remember Uglow always drawing, even during a badminton tournament or on the bus.
