Cardinal Antonio Barberini (1607-1671), Palazzo Barberini, Rome, by 1644 (1644 inv. no. 223);
Thence by inheritance to his brother, Cardinal Francesco Barberini (1597-1679), Palazzo Barberini, Rome (1672 inv. no. 23);
Thence by descent in the Barberini family;
From whom likely acquired by a member of the Dolgorukov (or Dolgoruky) dynasty, possibly Alexey Grigoryevic Dolgorukov (d. 1734);
Thence probably by descent to Prince Serge Alexandrovich Dolgorukov (1875-1933), Saint Petersburg;
