Les Yeux De L'Amour: a portrait of Marie Fel (1713-1794), the renowned singer and companion of the artist
inscribed on the musical score at center right: Les yeux de l'Amour / un cantatille
pastel with small touches of wet pastel on five sheets of paper, the central sheet extended on all sides
paper: 31¾ by 25¾ in.; 80.6 by 65.4 cm.
framed: 40 by 34½ in.; 101.6 by 87.6 cm.
