Augusta of Bavaria (1788-1851) was the eldest daughter of the first Bavarian King, Maximilian I Joseph (1756-1825). In 1806, she married Eugène de Beauharnais who was the son of the Empress Joséphine from her first marriage. He was later adopted by Napoleon.
