the deep dish on ring foot, decorated in blue and black enamels on underglaze blue, with a central roundel depicting triple aoi mon [leaves of wild ginger crests], bordered by peonies sprays and scrolling foliage, with two further aoi mon, the reverse with further peony sprays and karakusa beneath a band of geometric design
