Takahashi Shotei (Hiroaki, 1871-1945)
Three woodblock prints
Taisho period, early 20th century
each a woodblock print, and comprising:
- Evening Shower at Takaido (Takaido no yudachi), with artist's gourd-shaped seal Shotei, titled to the upper left, no publisher's mark but both published by Watanabe Shozaburo, circa 1920, the reverse stamped MADE IN JAPAN
- Onagi River (Onagigawa), sealed Shotei, titled to the upper right, circa 1920
- View of Cherry Blossoms (Sakura no kei), depicting a boating party before Mount Fuji in spring, sealed Kakei, circa 1920
