Showa period, 20th century 


each a woodblock print, signed Hasui, sealed Kawase, and comprising:


- Kasuga-cho, Kumamoto, from the series Selected Views of Japan (Nihon fukei senshu), titled in the left margin as above, publisher's circular seal Watanabe (Watanabe Shozaburo) in the lower left corner, dated Taisho juichinen saku (made in 1922)

- Evening in Atami, View from the Abe Ryokan (Atami no yoru, Abe ryokan yori), titled in the left margin as above, no publisher's seal on this impression but published by Watanabe Shozaburo, dated Showa nijuninen saku (made in 1947)

- Starlit Night at Miyajima (Hoshizukiyo, Miyajima), from the series Souvenirs of Travel III (Tabi miyage dai sanshu), publisher’s mark (Hotei 'D', circa 1929-1942) to lower right margin Hanken shoyu Watanabe Shozaburo [Copyright reserved, Watanabe Shozaburo], dated Showa sannen saku (made in 1928)
