Kawase Hasui (1883-1957)
Three woodblock prints depicting night scenes
Showa period, 20th century
each a woodblock print, signed Hasui, sealed Kawase, publisher's circular seal to the lower right Watanabe (Watanabe Shozaburo), and comprising:
- Snow at Mukojima (Yuki no Mukojima), titled in the lower left margin as above, dated Showa rokunen junigatsu saku (made in December 1931), post-war printing
- Shinagawa, dated Showa rokunen sangatsu saku (made in March 1931), post-war printing
- Bell Tower in Okayama (Okayama no Kanetsukido), titled in the left margin as above, dated Showa nijuninen saku (made in 1947)
Each vertical oban:
