Meiji - Showa period, late 19th - 20th century
the group comprising:
- Sugimoto Temple in Kamakura (Kamakura Sugimoto-dera), woodblock print, signed in pencil in Roman script to the lower right corner Ray Morimura, sealed Mori, titled as above, dated and numbered along the bottom margin '85, 49/50
- Riverbank (Kawa-gishi), etching, from the portfolio Creative Prints by Famous Modern Artists (Gendai meika sosaku hanga shu), signed in pencil in Roman script to the lower right corner Tokio Miyashita, circa 1959, limited edition number to the lower left corner 38/100
- Lamp (Rampu), woodblock print, signed in pencil in Roman script to the lower right corner Senpan Maekawa, limited edition number to the lower left 501/510
- Gion Festival (Gion matsuri), woodblock print, from the series Folk Customs of Japan (Nihon minzoku zufu), with artist's hexagonal red seal Han, March 1946, affixed to original paper mount
- Evening View of Shinjuku (Shinjuku yakei), woodblock print, from the series Recollections of Tokyo (Tokyo kaiko zue), signed in block Han, December 1945, affixed to original paper mount
- Maple leaves over a bridge in Takao, woodblock print, embellished with metallic pigment, from the series A Thousand Grasses (Chigusa) published by Unsodo (Yamada Shinsaburo), circa 1899-1900
