Two woodblock prints
Edo period, 19th century
each a woodblock print, from the series The Storehouse of Loyal Retainers, a Primer (Kanadehon Chushingura), and comprising:
- Act V (Godanme), published by Tsuruya Kinsuke (Sokakudo), circa 1806
- Act VI (Rokudamne), no publisher's mark, circa 1806
Both horizontal oban:
each approx. 25 x 37 cm., 9⅞ x 14½ in.
