The present watch is a rare opportunity as luxury motor cars meet traditional watchmaking. Towards the 1980s to the 90s, Audemars Piguet is known to produce these elegant watches that depict a Rolls Royce Phantom II on the dial, however usually on wristwatches and indeed rather uncommon to see one on a pocket watch. Furthermore, the case is forged in platinum and set with baguette and brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel, making it a luxurious collector's watch.
The watch is preserved in very good overall condition, and retains its gemstone certificate and original warranty. It is set with 78 brilliant-cut diamonds to approximately 1.62 carats and 32 baguette-cut diamonds to approximately 4.10 carats.
