The design of the HM6 was inspired by the anime TV series Captain Future, particularly the spaceship Comet consisting of two connected spheres. The biomorphism art movement influenced the curved lines of the HM6, creating a more organic design. The HM6-SV editions feature a metal case band with horizontal lines reminiscent of the American Greyhound "Streamliner" buses from the 1950s and '60s, which were part of the Streamline Moderne style.
The present watch is offered in close to new condition. In addition, MB&F has generously offered a complimentary service for the successful buyer of this watch within six months after purchase, including shipping fee of the watch to the MB&F atelier in Switzerland and an one-year warranty will also be provided.
