The reference 5077 was launched in 2007 as part of the Rare Handcrafts Collection, a collection dedicated to preserving ancestral skills to decorate timepieces. Housed in a 38 mm platinum case, the dial has a beautiful vivid butterfly scene enhanced by an Anita Porchet signature. Anita Porchet is a master enameller who is recognized as the greatest enameller in the Swiss watch industry today. She is known for her splendid dials and cases that she skillfully decorates with the sophisticated enameling techniques of cloisonné, champlevé, plique-à-jour, Grand Feu, paillonné and miniature painting. She has created works of miniature art for many major watch houses including Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, Piaget, Fabergé and many others. The dial is signed ‘A. Porchet’, a designation which confirms that Ms. Porchet produced the entire piece herself, as opposed to ‘AP’, which indicates only partial involvement. We are pleased to offer this reference 5077 from the ‘Papillon 3’ series, with the Certificate of Origin dated 2009.
