To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Aquanaut, Patek Philippe launched reference 5167 in 2007. The introduction of this reference signified a major upgrade to the admired Aquanaut family with its new dial with a defined pattern and the removal of the 3 o'clock index to provide more space for the date window, which resulted in a more harmonious dial design.
